Privacy Policy

Dizem ("we", "us") operates the dizem.ai website, the Dizem application at app.dizem.ai, and the cloud service behind the Dizem — AI Visibility for WooCommerce plugin. This policy explains what data we collect in each of those places, why, and what your rights are. For anything not answered here, contact us at hello@dizem.ai — we are the controller for the processing described below.

This website (dizem.ai)

The marketing site and the app use Google Analytics 4 so we can see which pages bring visitors and whether the signup flow works. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the consent notice; if you decline it (or ignore it), Google Analytics runs in cookieless "consent denied" mode and no analytics cookies are set. Advertising features are disabled entirely, and we sell no data. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies and site data in your browser. Google Ireland Ltd. processes analytics data on our behalf.

Our hosting infrastructure (Amazon Web Services CloudFront) additionally processes your IP address and browser user agent as a technical necessity to deliver the pages and to protect the service against abuse.

Your Dizem account (app.dizem.ai)

When you create an account we collect your email address (managed through AWS Cognito) and, when you request a visibility snapshot, the details you submit: your store URL, product category, target markets, and optional competitor hints. We use these solely to set up and deliver your scans and dashboard, and to send you service emails about them (from hello@dizem.ai).

The WooCommerce plugin

The plugin's catalog audit runs entirely on your own server and sends us nothing. The plugin only transmits data after a store administrator explicitly clicks "Connect to Dizem Cloud". From that point, and until you disconnect, it sends us:

It never sends customer data, orders, or credentials. Syncs happen at connect, once daily, and when you press "Sync catalog now". Disconnecting stops all transmission immediately.

Where your data lives

All service data is stored and processed on Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1). AWS acts as our hosting and email-delivery subprocessor. When configuring scans we may process public information about your brand (such as your website and product category) with AI service providers; your account email and synced catalog data are not shared with them.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account exists and synced catalog data while your store is connected. Disconnecting the plugin stops transmission but does not automatically delete previously synced data — email hello@dizem.ai and we will delete it, along with your account data on request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Write to hello@dizem.ai to exercise any of these; you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above. Material changes to what the plugin transmits will additionally be disclosed in the plugin's changelog and readme.
